Audiowizard should i remove it12/3/2022 ![]() These ‘background’ noises are quite different than the constant sounds of air conditioning or street noise. I’ve tried suppressing the volume but then I also drop the singer’s voice and instruments so it’s not perfect, but it only happened once and never with a quiet background to isolate the screech to preserve the other desirable sounds. Last weekend’s shoot included one sound I’ve never encountered: a very loud audio/electrical screech while someone was singing and instruments were playing. ![]() I used to use several Isotope plugins but found often they negatively impacted the sound quality you want and introduced something unnatural. Are there tools that effectively remove talking on the phone and people walking? With the standard package, could it take out background noise? A few times during some recent interviews I conducted there were some things going on in the background such as someone making copies on a printer, someone talking on the phone, some crew during the shoot walking around, etc. This is no way bashing resolve as I love it for coloring/editing, I am just having a hard time getting the audio tools to work as good s it is in Adobe. ![]() I am just worried to start this whole project in Resolve and then come to a point where the audio tools aren’t powerful enough and then have to switch to Adobe. For example, the other day I tried to remove an overpowering sneeze from a video in resolve (or at least tone it way down) and I wasn’t able to get anything good.Īs I said, this may be because I don’t have much practice in it, but I am by no means an audio wizard, but I can achieve a lot in Audition. With Fairlight I have been struggling to achieve a lot of that. For example, Audition allows you to capture a noise print, learn the sound model, auto-heal a selection, go right into the spectral and erase parts of the audio. I don’t have too much experience with Fairlight, but whenever I have used it, the program doesn’t come close to how easy/fast/good Audition is. To me, so far at least, I have found that fixing audio is the one thing I have been missing a lot. I am set to start post-production on a project in June and at this point I am sort of struggling on whether to buy premiere/audition or keep with Resolve. The one thing that I have a hard time with is audio, especially adjusting and removing unwanted things in the audio. I have been using resolve to color and edit for over a year and so far, those aspects have gone really well. ![]() Hi everyone, I was just wondering if I can get your thoughts on using Resolve for sound removal. ![]()
